Be your best version.

Live authentically and in accordance with your own values and goals, rather than those of others.

It’s a journey of personal development that involves focusing on your body, mind, and spirit.

Who we are

A coach, a learner, a listener.

We aim to equip people with the motivation and life strategies they need to reach their unique potential and live an independent life.

Our goal is to offer services that provide interventions and mechanisms to avoid disconnection from education, family, culture, and community and allow clients to be the best versions of themselves.

Our approach to providing support solutions is based on empathy, respect, and belief in the individual’s spiritual and cultural capacity for life.

Walked Talk is passionate about ensuring all people with or without a disability, from different ethnic backgrounds and socio-economic positions, live a fulfilling, independent life despite the many challenges and daily life problems they may face.

ARE YOU READY?

Walked Talk invites you to embark on a journey of self-discovery and transformation.

Our story.

Walked Talk began operating because its principal, Clair Sykes, could see a real need for a personalised service, one that could offer and maintain individualised service and continuity for clients. Clair and the team pride themselves on providing solutions and services that are outside the box.

We do this by listening to what people with or without a disability, and their family, really need, and then find solutions to match those needs.

How we work

01

make contact

A consultation call or appointment is a great way to make sure you’re on the right track.

02

Create your goals

Your counselor will explain confidentiality and your rights, and discuss how notes are stored and who might contact you in an emergency.

The first session may feel like an interview as your counselor asks you questions to understand your issues.

You and your counselor will work together to establish goals for your counseling.

03

ongoing support

Your counsellor will discuss next steps in the pathway or plan you have developed together.

  • Dedicated time set aside to explore difficulties, stressful situations, or emotional upset faced by a client
  • Helping that client see their situation and feelings from a different viewpoint, potentially to facilitate change
  • Building a relationship based on trust and confidentiality
